About the Recognition Awards
The Recognition Awards are a celebration of ambition, resilience and the kind of business building that deserves to be recognized on a national stage.
Across 11 categories, these awards celebrate Canadian entrepreneurs who are doing the work. Building businesses, leading with purpose, showing up for their communities and proving every day that ambition has no limits. No pitch required. Just your story and what you have built.
All categories are self-nominated because we believe you should own what you have accomplished. The only exception is the Trailblazer Award, which is nominated by someone in your corner who knows exactly what you have overcome to get here.
Recognition Award applications open June 1st and close October 15th. Finalists are announced November 17th and honoured live on stage at the Total Mom Pitch Awards Night on February 10, 2027.
Canada's Total Mom Pitch is open to Canadian mom entrepreneurs at any stage of business. Before you begin, make sure to review the eligibility requirements and official rules.
Step 1 — Create Your Account Click here to create your free account. Enter your name, email and password, and you're in. Once registered, you'll be logged in automatically and can start your application right away.
Step 2 — Choose Your Category. From your dashboard, click "Start a New Entry" and select the category you want to apply for. You can apply for the Total Mom Pitch and/or submit your business for a Recognition award if you meet the category criteria. The Trailblazer Award can be self-nominated, or you may be nominated by a third party.
Step 3 — Complete Your Application. Each category has its own set of questions designed to help you tell your story and showcase your business. Take your time; you don't have to complete it in one sitting. Your progress saves automatically, so you can always come back to it. Please follow the deadline instructions.
Step 4 | Submit Your Entry When you're ready, click "Send to Judges" to officially submit. Only submitted entries will be reviewed. Make sure to hit submit before your category deadline.
Key Deadlines: Canada's Total Mom Pitch applications close September 14, 2026, and Recognition Award applications close October 15, 2026. Both deadlines are at 11:59 pm ET
